01. Namae Oshiete
「名前教えて」というフレーズが記憶と耳に心地よく残る、全編英語曲。
美しい人との衝撃的な出逢いを描いた物語は、穏やかで優しいビートとともに始まり、徐々に音数を増やして静かに盛り上がっていく。音や声の重なり方が美しく、メンバーの歌い方にも一貫して品の良さが漂い、紳士的で洗練された一曲だ。
「あなたと踊りたい、あなたの事を知りたい」というシンプルな衝動と同じように、メロディも歌詞もいたってシンプル。生活に溶け込むほど聴きやすい一方で、想像の余地があり、浸って聴けばとてもロマンチック。シーンに合わせて様々な聴き方を試してみてほしい。

デビュー前にPrinceとして活動していたメンバーの岸優太・神宮寺勇太・岩橋玄樹が歌う、都会的でスタイリッシュなナンバー。歌詞にこそ「ガラスの靴」「おとぎ話」などPrincessを感じさせる要素があるものの、全面的に大人のムードが漂う曲だ。
お洒落なギターの音に乗る岸の歌い出しは、ソウルやブルースを感じさせ、どきりとするほどのグルーヴをかもし出している。途中に入る神宮寺のラップは曲のアクセントとしてきらりと光り、岩橋の声は甘さを加えるスパイスとなる。それぞれの良さが担当するパートにぴたりとはまっていて、ファンにとっても嬉しい一曲だろう。
This urban and stylish number is sung by Yuta Kishi, Yuta Jinguji, and Genki Iwahashi, members who performed as Prince before their debut. Although the lyrics of the song include "glass slipper" and "fairy tale" elements that remind one of Princess, the overall mood of the song is mature.

本格的なハードロック。攻撃的で尖った表現を爆発させた髙橋海人、そこに退廃的なニュアンスを加える永瀬廉。両者の生み出す化学反応が、これまでのKing & Princeから一歩進んだ新しい世界観を創り上げている。
歌詞からは「行きつく場所なんてわからないけど」「手探りのFreaky days」と、迷いや恐れは隠さずに、それでも「躓いたとしても乗り切ってみせる」「選んだこのMy life」と、覚悟を決めて信じた道を行く、という確かな意志を感じることができる。力強いメッセージと重いサウンドを堪能しよう。
This is authentic hard rock. Kaito Takahashi sings with aggressive and sharp expressions, and Ren Nagase adds decadent nuances. The chemical reaction created by the two has created a new worldview that is a step forward from the past King & Prince songs.

歌詞だけを読むと、恋する気持ちを抑えられない・止められないという情熱的なラブソングだが、曲調は軽く穏やかで、胸から溢れ出す想いがそよ風に乗って流れていくような印象さえ与えている。
浮遊感のあるサウンドに乗る歌は優しく、さらりと聴ける爽やかさ。「君がいればChanging the world」「感じ合った瞬間 生まれ変わると信じたい」と、出会いや恋によって世界がらりと変わるという希望が歌われていて、明るい未来を感じることができる。

特に、岸優太の「ハピネス」に満ちた歌声は自然に楽しい気分に導かれることだろう。ラストサビ後の、メンバー同士の折り重なるような掛け合いも聴きどころ。最後に平野紫耀が歌うタイトルのフレーズも情感があり、余韻を創り上げている。

「それぞれに歩んだ道 交じり合うことがキセキ」とあるように、一緒に思い出を刻んでゆく相手がいることの幸せ、それが続くように祈る気持ちの純真さが聴き手の胸をキュンとさせる。特にオチサビの前〜ラストサビにかけての展開はとてもドラマチック。入り込んで聞けば聞くほど、ときめきを楽しめるはずだ。
